Biography

Bryan Trinh

Product Design Engineer

Bryan’s product engineering skills and approach were honed at Amazon’s Lab126, where he worked on the Kindle Voyage, a next-generation premium e-reader, and “other top-secret projects.” The experience combined exposure to lots of great engineers and great ideas with “a disciplined approach to shipping products,” he says.

He aims to apply that experience to help Playground companies anticipate design issues that might otherwise be easy to overlook.

“Prototypes with a purpose are the best way to learn” is Bryan’s guiding tenet.

“I believe that a brilliant idea is just that, an idea,” he says. “Until you actually start making something, ideas will look and sound good in a Powerpoint, but won't get you any closer to shipping.”
